Also, keep in mind that often newspaper articles are written with easily obtainable material and edited by others before appearing in print. That means they may not be accurate or reliable sources for research. They are more like guidelines, similar to the Pirate's Code. I recommend you always use primary source material when you research and will send a note to the author asking for a list of his references.
